Travel
The closest airport is in Leipzig-Halle (70 km away from Jena). Larger airports are located in Berlin and Frankfurt (300 km away from Jena). Other major airports are Munich and Düsseldorf (400 kms away from Jena).
You can continue your journey by train. For ICE trains, you will usually need to change trains in Erfurt, Weimar, Leipzig, or Göttingen.
Find a suitable connection on the website of the German Railway Company Deutsche Bahn (DB). Jena can also be reached by coach from all major cities in Germany. The bus station is centrally located opposite of the train station “Jena Paradies”.

Several room allotments have been reserved for you in different hotels. These contingents expire on the respective deadlines indicated below. Participants are responsible for making their own bookings and should state the relevant keyword when booking. Dorint Hotel Esplanade Jena
The Dorint Hotel Esplanade Jena is centrally located within easy walking distance of the city center and offers direct access to the Goethe Galerie shopping center. The Volkshaus Jena culture and congress center, the venue for WSOF 2027, is located directly opposite the hotel, just a few meters away.
Prices:
Single room incl. breakfast per person/night – 139 EUR
Double room incl. breakfast per person/night – 174 EUR
The hotel will make the rooms available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival; these must be vacated by 12:00 noon on the day of departure and the room keys must be returned to the reception desk.
A credit card is required to guarantee the booking of a room from the reserved contingent. Individually reserved rooms can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.

Best Western Hotel
The 4-star hotel located approximately 4,5 km from the WSOF conference venue. It can be easily reached by public transportation.
Prices:
Single room incl. breakfast per person/night – 90 EUR incl. breakfast
Double room incl. breakfast per person/night – 120 EUR incl. breakfast
The hotel rooms will be ready for occupancy from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival; they must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Cancellations are free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival. For further information after this 6-week period, please contact the hotel directly.

Hotel Eulensteins
This hotel is located in the historical city center of Jena only 280 m from the Volkshaus away. It has a sustainable focus and relies on a family atmosphere.
Prices:
Single room per person/night – 95 EUR
Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the day of arrival; later arrivals are possible by prior arrangement. Check-out must be completed before 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Steigenberger Maxx Hotel
The 4-star hotel located approximately 8 km from WSOF conference venue. It can be easily reached by public transportation.

Rooms will be made available by the hotel from 3:00 p.m. on the arrival day; guests must leave the rooms by 12:00 noon on the departure day.

Rooms reserved by name can be canceled free of charge until three days prior arrival. For later cancellations or no-shows, a cancellation fee of 90% will be charged. Credit card details are required at the time of booking.
